Probably the best airsoft spring pistol ever made. Looks and feels exactly like the real McCoy. The orange tip pulls out easily to reveal what appears to be a .45 cal, rifled barrel, so if you point this at a police officer, you will almost certainly get shot or arrested (the 6mm barrel is recessed about 3/8 inch, so it’s not obvious that it’s a replica). I’ve used mine for about a year for plinking and shooting bumblebees who try to bore holes in my deck. If you lightly pre-lubricate .20 BB’s with airsoft gun lube and use them in this, the accuracy is unreal. I hit bumblebees easily at 15-20 feet when they pause to hover. I also have hit wasps with it. The mechanism stays open after the last BB, just like the real Colt. The safety and some other mechanisms work the same also. I have been told that the sights and grips on this pistol will fit on the actual Colt National Match, but I don’t own the real deal so I can’t verify that. I can’t say enough about this gun: the finish on mine looks like a real Colt 45, and it hasn’t faded or chipped in a year of use in the woods and around my yard.

My son has the S&W “ultra Grade” 45 ACP airsoft, and while it’s also beautiful, real-looking, and deadly accurate, it’s not as nice looking as this Colt.

I am Karen’s son I got this gun and i’m not sure if mine is the same gun by the same company but my gun is total sweetness!
Pros:
300-350 fps
big heavy gun gives it realistic feeling
it hurts
easy to pump
adjustable hop-up
comes with two clips
Cons:
small clip usually jams
you have to spin a thing at the bottom of the big clip every so often
orange tip breaks easily
Overall it’s a very good gun. I’m looking for cheap good quality airsofts, please give me ideas!PLEASE!

Well, this gun was definitely worth the money. I bought two, both used, a total of about with shipping. Considering the fact that I have never used airsoft very much, this gun was way beyond the power that I imagined. when I first shot it, I was was amazed. The gun shoots about what it says it shoots, and bigger than I thought. The bullets that come with it are .12’s, and they curve upward about 5 or 6 feet when they reach maybe 30 feet away. .20’s aren’t much better; they sink after 20 feet because they’re too heavy. The accuracy is very good on a man-sized target, or a good sized tree is what I shoot on. All you have to do is aim at the ground, and they’ll come back up for you.
If you have never used or have little experience with airsoft guns, well, you’re exactly like me. I looked and browsed for like a whole MONTH before i finally decided on two of these and a rifle. So if you’re new to airsoft, than get one of these. Trust me. It’s like a slingshot in a tiny little gun frame, nice an solid, and the insides are completely plastic. Not too good in a war as a first weapon (I had my first recently) but great for introductory to airsoft. In my opinion, these should be sold out. Buy it.

I first came across this sidearm at work; one of the stock workers purchased it and wanted to test the FPS… by shooting himself in the foot. Through the wool socks this S&W gave him a whelp the size of a dime and he kept it for several days, showing it off whenever he thought a woman would find it a beauty mark… clearly they did not. After testing it out myself and subsequently being shot myself (he got me from behind) I can personally vouch for the power behind this dandy.

It’s 302FPS may not sound like much but between 5-30 feet (typical effective range IMO) you’ll know you’ve been hit and you’ll be reminded by that large lump for days. It’s controllability is as much as you would expect from an airsoft gun; somewhat easy to control for medium to large sized hands although I heard complaints from younger shooters with smaller hands that it was harder to control. The majority of internal parts are hard metals and not the cheap kind you’d expect from CYMA or other lower-end products. This assures it will last longer than the cheaper competition.

Due to the FPS, this S&W has some greater accuracy than your normal inexpensive spring load, however, the lack of any mounts for a scope means you either have to take it to a machine shop to get one mounted or just take a guess at how to aim. The clear plastic also makes it look ugly when you try to mount any scopes or add-ons to it since they hardly match.

I should note that I do not like air soft guns that are clear plastic. I find those cheap and I feel like a third grader playing with a toy gun when I hold it… more so than usual. It has no asthetic parts such as a supressor (which I find actually stablizes the weapon better), flashlight or scope. These are kinda downsides to us younger audiences that like kewl looking weapons.

I should also stress to parents this weapon SHOULD NOT BE USED BY SMALL CHILDREN or children unfamiliar with firearm safety. While this sidearm will not cause any permanent damage, if it can leave two full-grown men groaning in pain for several minutes that have whelps for days, imagine what it can do to smaller children. Please parents, bear this in mind when purchasing this sidearm or any airsoft weapon.

Overall an 80%. It’s not that asthetically pleasing but it will alert your targets when you aim at them.

i bought this gun on accident but i thought i could just mess around with it and it said it shot 290 fps bull sh&t more like 320 fps it hurts so bad its a very good gun the stock comes off so its kinda weird looking but it shoots hard and fat but the thing that suck is the cokcing is up top so you are screwed if your surrounded and it says it hold 500 it does in a storage thing but it more like hold 24 then you have to take it out and shake it a lil and itl reload. over all very good gun for price but i got mine at scheels mine was 30 bucks so what ever you want to do. but its a good gun.
